my intention is to empower.
I SEEK TO become a resourceful human being and to inspire others to live their CREATIVE potential.
CREATIVITY AND WELL-BEING
Hi, I’m Susanne, a multidisciplinary creative and a yoga teacher. My work bridges the esoteric and the academic, the artistic and the practical.
With a background in design, management, and yoga, I empower you to connect with your essence and express it with clarity and style. Through yoga, photography, and guidance my intention is to help you orient yourself, access your creative potential, and express your vision with authenticity and grace.
My path has led me through studies in economics and design, work in brand management, founding a sustainable knitwear label and manufacture, completing a Master’s degree in Management, Communication & IT with a focus on Digital Wellbeing, and training as a yoga teacher. What weaves these experiences together is a broad curiosity and a desire to craft a life that feels joyful, connected, and creative.
I understand creativity not as a rare talent, but as a fundamental human capacity, one that is inextricably linked to our wellbeing. To be well, we have to cultivate a healthy balance between consumption and creation. A balance that is increasingly challenged by consumer culture and digital distraction. Through my academic research in Digital Wellbeing, I have an evidence-based understanding of why creative and embodied practices are essential in the digital age - individually and socially.
Yoga helps restore this vital balance. It allows us to feel our interconnection with great nature and to access our innate creative power. To me, yoga is not only a practice of personal wellbeing, but also a political act, a way of reclaiming agency, awareness, creative power, and connection.
On my creative path, analog photography has become an important medium, a way to combine my love of exploring new places with capturing aesthetic perspectives and creative collaboration. As with yoga and guidance, it’s a way to channel creativity into empowering others and sharing the beauty I see in the world.
Originally from the south of Germany, after stops in Barcelona, Munich, and Zurich, I am currently based in the heart of the Alps, in Innsbruck, Austria.
YOGA TRAINING
I began practicing yoga in 2008 during my studies in Barcelona. After many years with Hatha and Kundalini yoga practice, a lockdown meditation group sparked my desire to deepen my practice through foundational teacher training. In 2024, I studied Kundalini Yoga with Imagine Yoga Academy and Judith Ender’s lovely community in Zurich. In 2025, seeking a senior mentor to integrate my learnings, I found Dages Juvelier Keates and, through her, Katonah Yoga® — drawn to her guiding principle: the goal of the practice is to inform, not to conform.
2025 - ongoing | 200 hrs Katonah Yoga® Certification - Katonah Yoga® Center
2023 - 2024 | 200 hrs Kundalini Yoga - Imagine Yoga Academy, Judith Ender, Zurich
2022 | 200 hrs Hatha Vinyasa - Green Yoga International, Mallorca
ACADEMIC EDUCATION
A curiosity for power dynamics and a love of languages and beautiful places first led me to study economics in Barcelona. My design education then evolved through the practical experience of running a sustainable knitwear business, complemented by diverse academic studies in the field. Post lockdown, I turned my focus to the pervasive effects of digitalization, completing a Master’s in Management, Communication & IT. Read my Master’s thesis in Digital Well-being here.

THE WORLD IS SENSUAL AND TEXTURED.
Walk through the front door, smell the warm baking bread that makes a home. Feel the cold visceral shock of the ocean as the waves break on your body. Lie in the wild meadow and watch the clouds scud across the sky. Slowly breathe in the scent of summer rain. Pull on your favourite jumper, feel how you enjoy its softness. Take a walk through a wood, listen to the sounds and sense the endless shades of green, witness the shapes of the trees.
What’s like to be in a jazz club in Paris, a rave in Bucharest, or taking in a view from the highest mountain you have climbed?
When we are making anything we should never forget that as human beings we endlessly engage with our world through our senses. Our bodies are constantly computing all: temperature, pressure, wind, light, taste, sound, it goes on and on and on, all at the same time. Our intuitive consciousness is plumbed into all senses. Sense and sensations pour into us 24 hours a day. It is how we make sense of the world.
